Welcome to She Drew the Line, a blog

Dear Creative,

Over the past year, I have been researching female artists, illustrators, animators, graphic designers, product designers, print pattern designers, greeting card designers, and gift wrap designers whose work influenced their respective fields and the world around them. The work of these women surrounds our lives in books, magazines, art on the wall, décor products, and movies we watch. Most of the time, these women were invisible, and/or a male took credit for their work. This blog is to shine a light on the women in the past who have influenced and paved the way, women currently working and not being seen for their contributions to the creative field, and women of the future to give them a head start on being visible.
